Articulate as ...
So the interesting question to ponder today is...do you become more articulate the more you increase your vocabulary?
I think it works, but at the same time it is more choice in words which makes it a lot harder to form sentences...right?

Yes, I think so. Generally speaking an adult can articulate better than a child :)
I think articulation is getting a point across in a concise and precise manner. Sometimes using basic English, rather than 'more choice in words', can be more effective if that's what your chosen audience prefers.
