Day Two - New Year (2007)
Happy New Year to everyone!
The combination of those three words - 'happy', 'new' and 'year' are said to everyone to welcome in each year. It's funny how the concept of 365 days makes such a difference. The days between each year are still consecutive, and if you lined them up sequentially in a row a "year" is just an arbitrary division of the days. So theoretically everyone can start saying "Happy New Week" for every week of the year, and creating 'new week' resolutions. I guess it's a lot harder to come up with new resolutions each week and keeping them would be tougher.
So this year my main resolution is to be happy with myself. To achieve this resolution there are several things that I will expect myself to do:
1. Quit Smoking
2. Lose Weight
3. Plan my Business
4. Regularly Blog (for you Cal!)
So I have started this new blog to share my thoughts, actions and expectations for this coming year and hopefully beyond 2007.
For Day 2 of 2007 the following status update:
- Age: 26 years old now (so old)
- Marital/Relationship Status: Single (looking to be that way for awhile)
- Location: Still in Sydney (living at home still!ARGH!)
- Employment Status: Still at Sydney Water
